Hemp Super Seed Bars
These no bake, gluten-free, vegan hemp seed bars make a delicious healthy grab and go breakfast, snack or dessert. Packed with protein, healthy fats, omega 3, vitamins, minerals and fibre, these bars will give you a huge boost of both nutrients and energy.
Cooked using
- 1 cup mixed seeds (pumpkin, sunflower, sesame)
- 1/3 cup of Good Hemp Seed Hearts
- 1/4 cup shredded coconut
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1/4 cup nut or seed butter
- 1/4 maple syrup or honey
- 1 tbsp coconut oil, melted & cooled
Method
Mix together the seeds, hemp seed hearts, shredded coconut, chia seeds and spices in a large bowl.
Add the nut butter, syrup and coconut oil and stir well to thoroughly combine.
Line an 8×8 baking tin with greaseproof paper, spoon in the mixture and press it out evenly into the corners with the back of a spoon.
Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes, then lift the paper out of the tin and cut into bar shapes (itshouldmakeatleast8).
Store in the fridge to keep them firm.
