Why Hemp Milk? Hemp Milk Community Reviews

So you’re at the supermarket looking at all the plant-milks on offer. First response? You’re happy! There are so many plant-milks available nowadays and everyone is really doing their bit to switch to dairy-free. That’s good. Second response? What on earth do I choose? There’s soya milk, almond milk, oat milk, rice milk, cashew milk, hazelnut milk, and of course, our hemp milk. But what does hemp milk taste like? Why is hemp the best dairy-free alternative for you? And does this milk alternative work in tea?

We know why we love hemp milk. Our Good Hemp Drink has a light and nutty taste and works great in your morning tea and coffee (no splitting here). There’s the fact that it is the only milk alternative that’s a good source of Omega 3 (not even dairy can claim that) and that it comes from one of the most sustainable plants on the planet. So if switching to plant-milks is the first step towards a more eco-friendly lifestyle, hemp milk is the next.

But why do our customers love hemp milk? We took to Instagram and Facebook to ask them that very question.

The hemp taste test won the vote…

@wiki.jazzzzz: My favourite plant based milk out there! I love the subtle flavour and how creamy my oats turn out… I’m always left thinking about them throughout the day😍

@flawsomejem: I love good hemp products 💚 I have been using for about 4 years now! No other non dairy drink (milk) matches this yumminess 😋 all the products are amazing 💚🙌🏼 happy Wednesday all

@iwantthatpurplestuff: It tastes good and it didn’t come from a tit.

@Rachel Hutchinson: Have tried other dairy substitutes this wins hands down it’s yummy ice cold and makes a great frothy coffee ☕️

But a lot of people loved that hemp milk didn’t split in hot drinks…

@k80duck: The fact you don’t curdle in tea and coffee is amaze and the taste is 👌👌 but I always feel like I’m doing my body a favour when I drink it xxx

@itsgemmaedwards: Versatility is important to me! It’s great in tea which is very important and my porridge. I actually prefer the unsweetened one as well ☺️

@emily.rose_carter: It doesn’t split up in hot drinks like other non-dairy milks

@Linda Slocombe: its the only dairy free milk that you can cook with, others curdle!. makes lovely custard and rice pudding. had to go without for years before I found hemp milk.

Sustainability was very important…

@karenza_co: Sustainability, especially when you consider the impact of dairy farming on the planet. Just love the taste too though. Clean and mild.

@clairegoesketo: I would say sustainability should be the main focus. I am loving mine and don’t drink any other milk now. I would love if it came glass bottles instead of plastic though!

@Jamescodlin: I’d take the sustainability angle first. We should prioritise the health of the planet.

As was health…

@nutritionxkitchen: I love hemp – I’ve been eating it for over a decade back in Canada, now that I’m UK based, I’m thrilled to see hemp options here as well. I love the amino acid profile and omega-3 content of hemp!

@theplantranger: Omegas all day – easy peasy plant based solution to omega needs

@therealshehulk13: It’s also low in carbs compared to all the other non dairy brands. This is crazy helpful when u have SIBO. (Which feeds off carbs & make me quite unwell) It’s GENIUS.

@mothernaturelovesyou: Vegan Omega 3, that doesn’t involve seaweed and wondering how to add flax seed to my hummus?
