Triple Hemp Cauliflower Pizza

We couldn’t have got more hemp seed into this pesto pizza recipe if we’d tried! Made with hemp seed flour, hemp seed oil and hemp seed hearts, it’s positively HEAVING with protein, fibre and omega 3.As well as all the hempy goodness, the base is made with cauliflower and ground almonds so it’s naturally gluten free and packed with nutrients. Top with whatever toppings you like-we went with vegan mozzarella-but most combinations work beautifully on top of the hemp seed pesto.

  • Pizza base
  • 1 medium sized cauliflower
  • 1/2 cup of ground almonds
  • 1/2 cup of Good Hemp Seed Flour
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Aquafaba (add to make the ingredients stick together)
  • Pesto
  • 2 large handfuls of fresh basil
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1/3 cup of Good Hemp Seed Hearts
  • 1/3 cup of Good Hemp Seed Oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Toppings
  • Vegan cheese (optional)
  • Plant-based meat (optional)



Pre-heat the oven to 180ºC.


Cut the cauliflower into florets then blitz them in a food processor until it’s the consistency of cauliflower rice.


Add the cauliflower to a large bowl along with the ground almonds, hempseed flour, oregano and aquafaba.


Mix it all up with your hands until you’re able to form it into balls (it won’t be the texture of dough, but should stick together enough to form a ball. If it’s too wet, add more flour and if it’s too dry add a little water).


Form into small balls then flatten them out with your hand on a lined baking tray and pat into circles.


Bake in the oven for 25 mins.


Meanwhile, make the pesto by combining all the ingredients in a food processor.


Top the pizza bases with the hemp seed pesto then add any other toppings you like. Bake again for 12 mins or until the cheese is golden.
