Carrot Cake Oatmeal 🥕

Now this recipe may sound rather Autumnal and we are well into Spring, but it’s carrot cake flavoured so we will make an exception for this one. Porridge is a staple breakfast for many people, so why not make it a little special and give it a pack of flavour.

If you don’t feel like eating it hot that is totally fine – you can make the recipe without heating it up. Simply add all the ingredients to a bowl or jar and set overnight in the fridge – when you wake up you can tuck into a delicious spiced over-night oats breakfast.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup of grated carrots
  • 1 cup of Good Hemp Seed Milk
  • 1/2 cup of oats
  • 1.5 tsp of Pumpkin spice
  • Sprinkle of ground ginger (add to taste)
  • 15g Good Hemp Seed Hearts
  • Flaked almonds to garnish

Method

Begin by grating your carrots (you don’t have to peel them if you don’t want to).

In a saucepan add your grated carrots, rolled oats and Hemp Seed Hearts – them mix.

Add in all your spices – you can add extra ingredients such as raisins if you want to.

Add in your Good Hemp Seed Milk and stir everything together. Put the saucepan on the heat and simmer for 4-5 minutes.
