5 Easy Ways To Use Our Good Hemp Seed Oil
If you don’t already know about our hemp seed oils, then you need to get to know them! We make our Good Hemp Oil by cold-pressing hemp seeds which helps maintain that light and nutty taste we’re always talking about with hemp. We think it’s cool because it’s naturally packed with omega 3, which are essential fatty acids that experts believe aid good brain and heart health as well as boosting circulation and the immune system. Oh and we think it’s way better than its cousin olive oil, because hemp oil has 25x more omega-3 and 40% less saturated fats.
But what can you use it for? Well here are our top 5 ways to use the oil!
Roast potatoes:
Ok we are entering into the warmer months and roast’s aren’t on everyone’s minds, but you can cube your potatoes into smaller chunks and make a Spanish patas bravas dish, which is essentially the same as a roast potato topped with a spicy tomato sauce topping. These roasties will go with anything and they always turn out super crispy – for a more boujee potato, add some rosemary and garlic to your roasting tray. Dipping sauce:
Its summer time soon which means late dinners in the park or outside in your garden! One perfect meal for those kinds of occasions has to be a charcuterie board. These boards are perfect because you can add whatever is in your fridge or cupboard and make it your own. A must on our charcuterie board is a dipping sauce for those thick sourdough loafs, add our Original Hemp Seed Oil into a bowl and add some balsamic vinegar in it do give it an extra kick.
Stir fry:
The base to any great stir-fry is a culinary oil, along with garlic, ginger, chilli and soy (or tamari if you’re gluten-free). Cook up whatever veg, combine with your rice noodles, then pour some extra oil on top with a sprinkle of coriander. Here we have @whatluceeats tofu vegan laksa and its 10/10 from us, its creamy, spicy and packed full of goodness.
Hemp pesto:
Ok, ok, we know it might take a minute to wrap your head around pesto without olive oil. But it might just become your new favourite hemp oil recipe. If you go to our cookbook, you will find an amazing recipe for our hemp pesto which goes into a recipe called vegetable tumbet which is a traditional Mallorcan dish. Or you can add the pesto to a bowl of delicious pasta and fill yourself with those carbs before a workout.
Chocolate hemp spread:
If you’re anything like us then you couldn’t live without something sweet. One of our favourite spreads at the moment, which can be used for breakfast, lunch and dinner in our opinion, is our chocolate hemp spread. It is super simple as it only contains 3 ingredients. Yes you guessed right, one of those ingredients is our Original Hemp Seed Oil, you simply blend it with our Hemp Seed Hearts and some melted dark chocolate.
