Delivery & Returns

Whilst we naturally want the world to try Good Hemp, we don’t think it’s right to be sending small shipments of quite heavy products overseas – it all adds up when it comes to the environmental impact. With that in mind, we’ve decided that for the time being we will only offer UK Delivery, and have also added a minimum order value of £15 to make sure we’re not doing the same over here. We’ll be offering free delivery on all orders though, and details of that can be found below.

Hemp FAQs

  • QARE YOUR PRODUCTS ORGANIC? V

Historically we have sourced our seeds from a range of producers some of whom have been organic and others, not. Because of this we have never been able to claim organic status. The majority of the seeds we are producing with at the moment are not certified organic, however we do ensure all of our hemp is sourced responsibly.

  • QDO YOU GROW YOUR HEMP IN THE UK V

We source our seeds from a number of different suppliers, in the past it has sat within the UK, at the moment we are sourcing 85% of our seeds from France, and 15% from China. By May 2019 we’ll be sourcing 100% of our seeds from France. The reason for this is because although we would ideally like to reduce the distance our seeds have to travel, and support British farmers, we are also committed to providing you with the highest quality of product without charging extortionate prices.

  • QHOW DO YOU MAKE HEMP MILK? V

In the most part, it’s a secret. But we have made a gif about it, here. It’s not great.

  • QDO YOU MAKE YOUR OWN PRODUCTS? V

Yes! We don’t buy in any hemp seed derivative, whole seeds arrive at our farm, which form the base (if not all!) of each product.

  • QCAN I USE YOUR PRODUCTS IF I HAVE A NUT ALLERGY? V

Yes! We’ve ensured all of our products are free from nuts, nor are they packaged in the same environment. We’ve got you covered.

  • QIS YOUR MILK GLUTEN FREE? V

Yes, it is 100% gluten free however our barista milk does contain malt extract which is derived from wheat, it is therefore fine for gluten intolerance suffers and coeliacs however if you suffer specifically from a wheat allergy we would not recommend you use this variation. Our Creamy Hemp Milk is gluten and wheat free.

  • QWHAT IS HEMP? V

Hemp, also known as “cannabis sativa” is a plant. Hemp has been cultivated for thousands of years, most notably for ropes for naval vessels and for paper. The different parts of the plant have different uses – for example we use the seeds, however hemp is capable of producing hundreds of crucial resources including clothing, building materials, biofuel and more.

  • QWHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HEMP, CBD AND MARIJAUNA? V

Hemp, otherwise known as “cannabis sativa” is a plant in the cannabis family, well known for it’s cousin marijuana. However, unlike marijuana, hemp contains no THC (the bit gets you high) and you’ll only find CBD in the leaves – none of either in the seeds which are the bits which we use!

  • QWHERE CAN YOU GET GOOD HEMP? V

Chilled Hemp Seed Milks – Waitrose, Asda (Creamy only)

Ambient Hemp Seed Milk – Waitrose, Sainsburys (Creamy only), Morrisons, Ocado, Holland & Barrett (Barista only)

  • QWHERE DO YOU MAKE YOUR PRODUCTS? V

At our farm in Devon! We don’t grow it there, but whole seed arrives at the farm, which all of our products are made from. We never buy in any type of hemp derivative.

  • QWHO OWNS GOOD HEMP? V

Good Hemp is a privately owned company with a small number of shareholders, including the founders Henry Braham and Glynis Murray.

  • QWHY DON’T YOU USE HEMP PLASTIC? V

If we could we would, however there are very limited materials food and drink can be packaged in, and hemp is not yet an option! When it is, we’ll be the first one signed up, until then we are continuing to search for more sustainable packaging options.
